Don't go f*cking with it too much (don't wanna cause damage) until we each figure it out. I think that on the right side of the fork you lift up the rubber nub and adjust it with an allen key.

I think that is just the rebound adjust but I am not quite sure. I shall start doing some research. What bike do you have it on? I have it on my KHS DJ 200, I have it on the 200 and a brodie heathen.

Posted: So, I have the fork apart. It was set at 80mm travel, and I would like to knock it up to 100mm There are two spacers near the top-out spring, and when I remove one, it will allow for 100mm. Question is, do I need to re-position this spacer elsewhere in the fork leg? Or, do I simply remove it?

I know in some Marz. 05 Freeride 3's ) that the spacer was removed from the top-out assembly, and then used as a necessary preload spacer on the coil, just below the top cap. Does it stay, or does it go? Other than that, it is about as simple as a fork can be to work on - there isn't even oil in it. Website no longer has the Extended User Manuals Yes, it is adjustable from 80 to 100 and vice versa - this is not some imaginary mod.

No, the lack of oil is not a mistake. That is how the DJ3's come, and how they are supposed to be. Cheers for anyone's help! Crunchss wrote: Are you sure the travel is adjusted by removing this spacer?

All the Marz forks I've owned, which is now three, you adjust the travel externally by adjusting the springs and air pressure. I even just checked my Bomber manual that I have, only one I've got to hand is 2006 though - so they might have drastically changed in two years? Thanks for the quick reply.

I am fairly certain that the travel is adjusted internally with the 08 DJ3's. The only external adjustment to be made, is a mechanical preload. It is just under a little black rubber cap, at the top of the fork leg. Remove the rubber, and use a hex wrench to adjust a bolt, more or less, that pushes down upon the spring, providing more or less preload.

Other than that, there are no adjustments to be made externally. Can't believe that I can't find a blow up of my model fork i.e. The service manual. Tried emailing both Marz Can. USA to no avail. Maybe they will get back to me in time.

Thanks all the same for the reply. Posted: crunchss, Cheers. Unfortunately, that is only the owners manual.

It has torques and all that jazz, but nothing in regards to the insides of the fork. I've (I think) scoured the Marz site, and that was all I had come up with too. On that link you referred to, it looks they they had an 'Extended User Manual', over to the right, but then removed it (?).
