Lioness: Hidden Treasures is a posthumous compilation album by English singer and songwriter Amy Winehouse. It was released on 2 December 2011 by Island Records.

Following her tragic passing in July comes the first posthumous album from[mp3com-artist] Amy Winehouse[/mp3com-artist]. Titled Lioness: Hidden Treasures, the album features several covers and other unreleased songs, hand picked by[mp3com-artist] Mark Ronson[/mp3com-artist] and[mp3com-artist] Salaam Remi[/mp3com-artist] in close association with Amy’s family. [pullquote quote=”It was a thrill to record with Amyone of the most honest musicians I have ever known.” Tony Bennett” credit=”Tony Bennett”]Winehouse was without question one of the most talented, original, and best-loved artists to emerge in popular music for decades.

The 12-track Lioness collection (to be released in the U.S. 6) features previously unreleased tracks, alternate versions of existing classics, as well as a couple of brand new Amy compositions.

The song “Our Day Will Come” dates back to 1963 when [mp3com-artist]Ruby and the Romantics[/mp3com-artist] waxed the track and made it a #1 hit. Since that time, everyone from [mp3com-artist]Isaac Hayes[/mp3com-artist] to [mp3com-artist]Christina Aguilera[/mp3com-artist] has taken a turn at the song, but none have hit the mark quite like Amy. Produced by Salaam Remi — who worked with Mick Ronson and the Winehouse family to compile the album — Amy’s version of “Our Day Will Come” fashions itself as the perfect accompaniment to a day at the beach (or anywhere else you are with your best guy or girl). Audi 80 Engine Manual on this page. Over honking reggae horns, lightly textured vibes and a classic doo-wop-style harmony track, Amy dips and dives, tumbles and rolls, ebbs and flows.

Sieges Even A Sense Of Change Rar. It sounds classic but is decidedly modern, too.
