Hello, I am a help desk tech for a city and I'm having issues with the Microsoft LiveCam software. One of our offices uses a MS HD 6000 Lifecam to take images of people for their case files. Yesterday, there was a change made to their AD account (we changed the server their files redirect to) and now the software won't work. I went over and the error message said it couldn't find the Lifecam files.

The troubleshooting guide gave no real help. So I reinstalled the software on the user's account (standard user, not admin) and authorized the install with our installer admin account and got the same message. So I launched the program from the users account using the Run As Admin command and it worked. I looked at the picture directory and noticed it was saving the files to the installer admin account.
